You can set permissions for a specific user or group of users.

  2. Click Administrators always have full access to ensure that all defined Administrators will have full access to the selected permission.
  1. Next to the Current User or Group field, click Select to choose a Windows user or group object and to enable appropriate options. The Select Windows User or Group window opens.
    • Select the object type, either User or Group.
    • Define the root domain Location from which to perform the search. Click Location to display the Location dialog box. Select Local Machine or type a domain, then define credentials.
    • In the Enter object name field, type the user or group name. Object names are case sensitivem and you can use wildcards. To search for all names, simply enter the asterisk (*) character. Click Check Name to locate all matching or similar object names for the specified location and object name. If there is more than one match, the Multiple Names Found window is displayed so that you can select a single name.
    • Click OK.
  2. Click Current user or group always has full access to ensure that the user or group will have full access to the selected permission.
  3. Select the permissions in the list that you want to explicitly allow for the current user or group. Icons next to the check box indicate the following:

Access is allowed through group membership.
Access is allowed through full trust.
    Access is being determined.

For the [Monitor Group], [Metric], and [Monitor] permissions at the bottom of the list, the list box on the right displays all available Monitor Groups, Metrics, or Monitors.

To remove a permission, clear the check box.

  5. Click Allow None to deny all permissions for the current Windows user or group. This does not effect access allowed through group membership or full trust.
  6. Click Check Access to display detailed information for the selected permission.
  7. (Optional) Click to toggle the display of the help panel that appears at the bottom of the window.

Note: Changes to permissions are not effective until Reveille Web interface sessions are restarted.
